The Technology Transfer Office (TTO) at IIT Madras leads the Commercialization and Licensing activities for intellectual assets created by faculty and researchers at the institute. The office – operates within the Intellectual Property Cell (IP Cell) and managed by Center for Industrial Consultancy and Sponsored Research, IC&SR.
The TTO is responsible for assessing commercial potential of the technology, identifying the market avenues and delivering the benefits of research to industry and society.
