Trademark defines as a device, brand, heading, ticket, name, signature, label, numeral, shape of goods, packaging, or combination of colors used by one undertaking on goods or services or other articles of commerce to distinguish from other similar goods or services originating from a different undertaking. Trademarks protect two types of marks of goods and services under the Trademarks Act, 1999.
